I earned a B.S. in Applied Physics from Purdue University West
Lafayette. Afterward I taught at IVY Tech State College in the Department of
Computer and Information Sciences and at Purdue University North Central in
the Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Physics. I then came to
University of Chicago where I worked as research technologist and then
joined the graduate program in Medical Physics. I'm currently working for
Patrick La Riviere on reducing noise
levels in low dose computed tomography(CT) and reconstruction models for
x-ray fluorescent computed tomography(XFCT). I most interested in problems
in medical physics where computational cost becomes is a limiting factor.
