I earned a BS degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology from Kanpur, India. I earned dual Masters in Physics and Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have worked in the industry for about 7 years in several companies including Lucent Technologies and Reuters Information systems.
I am working on image reconstruction in an emerging, hybrid imaging modality called optoacoustic tomography and its application to early detection of breast cancer.
